Early Diagnosis Could be the End of Endo

Many of our goddesses get in touch with severe complications from having endometriosis undiagnosed for a long time. It can go undiagnosed for a long time because a lot of women experience difficulty communicating the severity of their symptoms and this can be brushed under the rug of ‘women’s problems’ or part and parcel with menstruation. But it is not! Recently the BBC published an article about one woman’s 7 year struggle to get a proper diagnosis and detailed how diagnosis came so late due to doctors misunderstanding her pain as menstrual cramps that she has now got severe scarring on her uterus that could cause fertility issues later. Endometriosis is a serious ailment that can be excruciatingly painful and it should not be ignored by MDs. Early diagnosis would mean that women could get the medical treatment or the holistic help as soon as possible and reduce scarring and years of pain and suffering.

EmpressBody has put together a specially designed holistic approach to tackle this feminine health issue so that women don’t have to suffer any longer! Keep reading for more information, what to look out for and how EmpressBody can help…

What are the symptoms of Endometriosis?

Endometriosis (en-doe-me-tree-O-sis) is an often painful disorder where tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus — the endometrium — grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. Rarely, endometrial tissue may spread beyond pelvic organs.

The most common symptom shared by many women with Endometriosis is pelvic pain, often associated with your menstrual period. Although many women experience cramping during their menstrual period, women with endometriosis typically describe menstrual pain that's far worse than usual. They also tend to report that the pain increases over time. No one deserves period cramps that leave you in agony.

Common signs and symptoms of endometriosis may also include:

· Painful periods (dysmenorrhea). Pelvic pain and cramping may begin before your period and extend several days into your period. You may also have lower back and abdominal pain.

· Pain during intercourse. Pain during or after sex is common with endometriosis.

· Pain with bowel movements or urination. You're most likely to experience these symptoms during your period.

· Excessive bleeding. You may experience occasional heavy periods (menorrhagia) or bleeding between periods (menometrorrhagia).

· Infertility. Endometriosis is first diagnosed in some women who are seeking treatment for infertility.

· Other symptoms. You may also experience fatigue, diarrhoea, constipation, bloating or nausea, especially during menstrual periods.

Annoyingly, the severity of your pain isn't necessarily a reliable indicator of the extent of the condition. Some women with mild endometriosis have intense pain, while others with advanced endometriosis may have little pain or even no pain at all.

What are the possible complications if it goes undiagnosed?

Women with endometriosis can sometimes experience a number of complications.

Fertility problems

Endometriosis can damage the fallopian tubes or ovaries, causing fertility problems. But most women with mild to moderate endometriosis will eventually be able to get pregnant without treatment.

Adhesions and ovarian cysts

Some women will develop:

· adhesions – "sticky" areas of endometriosis tissue that can join organs together

· ovarian cysts – fluid-filled cysts in the ovaries that can sometimes become very large and painful

These can both occur if the endometriosis tissue is in or near the ovaries. They can be treated with surgery, but may come back in the future if the endometriosis returns.

Surgery complications

Like all types of surgery, surgery for endometriosis carries a risk of complications.

The more common complications aren't usually serious, and can include:

· a wound infection

· minor bleeding

· bruising around the wound

The EmpressBody Detox Pearls

The Detox Pearls can help ease the symptoms of endometriosis as they EmpressBody pearls work by the specially selected herbs creating a pulling effect that draws toxins, bad bacteria, dead cells, old bloodclots, mucus and more from your yoni, while at the same time tightening your yoni and deterring vaginal dryness and other ailments. In particular, the pearls help to regulate the menstrual cycle correctly as endometriosis causes retrograde menstruation, where the blood does not flow out of the body as it should, this is one of the main theories as to why women have endometriosis. The pearls also help to flush out the endometrial tissue that is deposited in locations they shouldn't be e.g the outside of the womb and uterus.

Because every woman is so beautifully unique we do tell everyone that their relief may differ from other women, but we generally advise women with endometriosis to complete a full detox of 24 pearls back to back. This means inserting 6 pearls over a course of 24 days, leaving each detox pearl in for 3 days and not just 2 days to help with the endometriosis.
